Very rare 1962 Morris Mini Minor Super. Both the Super and Cooper were introduced in September 1961, identical apart from the Super having a standard 850cc Engine, drum front brakes and a unique front grill.
We purchased our Super in 2009 and ran it with its original spec until 2013 when we replaced the engine with a 1275cc engine sourced from a 1968 MG1300, and fitted Cooper S brakes. We have kept the original engine should the new owner wish to return to the original specification. It was purchased with a Cooper grill and unfortunately we have never managed to find an original Super grill.
The front seats have been replaced with Newton Commercial recliners for a bit more comfort, again original seats kept.
The car has had a full bodywork and paint refurbishment in 2020 and is in excellent condition. When not out on the road it is kept in a CarCoon.
